Mikey Winslow just wrapped performing in the smash hit production run of Hamilton staged in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Before he left town, I was able to sit down with this East Grand Rapids native and veteran of Broadway and talk about his life and career. Amazingly, Mikey’s career nearly ended two years ago after his hip became too painful to continue professionally. Miraculously, after hip replacement surgery and physical rehab, he’s as good as ever and pain free.

Mikey and I discuss the phenomenon that is Hamilton, his drive drive to succeed, the incredible demands on his body and also his tremendous excitement about being cast in the newly announced production run of Hamilton in Los Angeles that will spend most of 2020
